As a Marketing Manager, you will provide direction and tactical campaign planning to grow brand awareness, digital presence and lead generation. Covering growth and accounts based marketing you will own all commercial content and digital marketing to generate more opportunities for the business.
To manage all the marketing campaigns utilising an integrated, multi-channel approach to promote, drive and increase audiences and revenues as well as to enhance brand value and engagement
Managing campaign content and sales collateral production and monitoring our web pages.
Liaising with our marketing partners to achieve success, from PR partners, SEO/PPC agencies.
Communicating marketing plans and goals across teams and ensuring we hit deadlines.
Managing marketing executives, and collaborating with designers and content creators.
Reporting on KPIs and reviewing plans to continually deliver high standards and results.
Develop and deliver an annual plan of agreed marketing strategies and tactics across our portfolio. Specifically direct marketing, digital marketing events, conferences, PR, awards, and brand building.
As Marketing Manager you will spearhead a new marketing department for a fast-growing business. Responsible for putting in place the strategy and infrastructure for marketing success and business growth. Develop brand reputation and authority within the industry using a blend of marketing strategies and tactics. This is a senior role with the view to growing into a leadership position.
Marketing generalist - all rounder who has knowledge across all marketing disciplines.
Operational and organised - strong project management and communication skills

The day-to-day
Proactively finding new Media and Marketing Agency opportunities - companies with Employees 1-50 (excluding our 10 largest key agencies).
Generating leads, building and managing your sales pipeline.
Face-to-face and remote meetings and business presentations to prospective clients.
Building and maintaining relationships with prospective clients.
Managing the sales process end-to-end, from pitching to trialing to closing.
Responding to consultancy briefs and investigating the details.
Writing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
Joining our sales team, you’ll be expected to get hands-on from the start and develop your own profile among communications agencies, media owners and brands. The Canvas8 approach is developing partnerships, establishing a dialogue between our capabilities and our client’s needs - we offer consultative solutions to our clients, similar to a SaaS, AdTech solution.
Motivated and engaged, you’ll have a smart and consultative approach to sales, able to speak with gravitas and confidence about our products and design the best solution for each client, both face-to-face and remotely.
As a quick learner, you’ll be comfortable working autonomously and identifying new sales opportunities.
About you
2-3 years experience in an account management, client services role within a Media/Marketing, AdTech or SaaS sales environment.
A keen interest in human behaviour, cultural trends and strategic insights.
Strong business and commercial acumen, comfortable with negotiating contracts, develop leads and build relationships to grow partnerships with clients.
Ability to show experience in generating new business sales and achieving targets.
Not daunted by the prospect of building and presenting a sales plan.
Comfortable working autonomously as well as within a collaborative, diverse and strong team.
Confident in your ability to move into a BDM role on the journey to key accounts sales.
